1. Published Author.

A little over a decade later, I can finally say that I am a published author!

Oh.My.God! Has it been a journey! But it's finally here. My job was to put it on paper, and it's now up to you what you make of it. But if you want to share your feedback with me, hit the comments here or my social media. But in the meantime, let me tell you about the journey.

How did I choose the title?
Throughout the years, I wrote many chapters that I always said would come together for the “infamous book” I kept promising I was working on. In between those chapters, I also wrote short stories that weren’t originally part of the plan—but I ended up tweaking them and blending them in. That’s why I chose the title: because the book really is like a puzzle, made up of different pieces—chapters, short stories, poems, even newspaper clips - creating one story. On top of that, the plot itself unfolds across different times and stages of life, which ties it all together.

Is this a real memoir?
No. It's 70% fiction mixed with the 30% that's my life experiences - and even then, it's a little heightened for the drama of it all.

Why the cliffhanger in the last chapter?
For the drama, the WHAT-IFs, the anticipation, the expectation - and the (hopeful) return of the readers when the next book arrives.

What was your reaction when the book went Live?
When I got the emails saying first the eBook and then the paperback were live, I was ecstatic. I bomb-texted my BFF—again. She’d been there through it all: listening to my rants about my struggles with the software, the original (and now embarrassing) pick for the cover (and deal with the hiccups that came with it), stressing over prices and release dates, even giving me advice on free requests. I’m just glad she was there for the ride. But to answer (my own) question, I thought I was going to cry when I finally saw it online, but more than that, I was speechless - the hard work paid off. The dream was getting published - if I make any profit from it, that's just icing on the cake.... and I'm a fan of big cakes.

What's next?
Uhm, let me give you a couple of cliffhangers:
1- A second book? Let's just say there's fraud and jail. Plus, where is Adam?!
2- A third book? Let's just say there's alcoholism and Immigration. Plus, where is Adam?

Who knows! Maybe there's nothing. We shall see.

But more than anything, thank you for all the support on this journey.

And as I have said in past blog posts,
